The service from the management company is horrible. My leasing manager told me that the management company is supposed to change the air filters in the apartments every 3 months. Not once in the 2 years that I lived there did they change it for me. My leasing manager also told me that someone would be in to fix multiple things in my apartment. They only fixed ONE. The 2nd year I lived in my apartment, the rent was raised. My leasing manager told me that he would keep my rent at the same price I had been paying the previous year. Then I receive a phone call in August informing me that I owed more money for my rent -- my leasing manager LIED to me. I truly believe the only reason he told me all these lies was because my boyfriend, a football player, was with me when he spoke with me. They also lie about their dog policies. I wanted to have a medium-sized dog. They told me that it would be too big for the apartment and they did not approve. However, I have seen an apartment with 2 labs in it, another apartment with a golden retriever, and another apartment with a Great Dane. The apartments are supposed to be gated communities, however the gate at my apartment complex was broken 30-40% of the time. A GATED COMMUNITY IS PART OF WHAT I AM PAYING FOR. I have heard of 2 people who have almost been broken into, and I recently heard they had 7 cars in the parking lot broken into. They could easily solve this problem by installing a new gating system. Lastly, they are HORRIBLE at returning phone calls. I have called them 4 times in the last 3 days, asking to speak with my property manager. Every time, he has been out of the office. I have left messages all 4 times asking him to call me back, and I have yet to receive a phone call back from him. The apartments themselves are nice. I really have no complaints regarding them. The maintenance of the grounds is always exceptional. They grass is always cut, the leaves are picked up, and there's rarely any garbage on the ground. My one and only complaint is the service. And unfortunately, part of what you are paying for is their service. I would not recommend renting from this management company -- there are plenty of other apartment complexes that offer the same amenities with a better quality of service.
