While the appearance of Ichiban from the street is less to be desired, once you enter you can check any doubts about this establishment at the door. The inside is very clean with a friendly staff willing to offer suggestions. The menu offers a wide selection that won't break your bank and the food is DELICIOUS! Besides the amazingly low prices and the fast and friendly service, the food is fantastic. All the employees greet you at the door and continue to talk with you all night. The sushi was amazing, many of which I thought were very unique. And the steak and shrimp are absoutely amazing especially for the price. I am recommending this place to all my friends! Ichiban may not be as fancy as some of the Japanese Grills in town but the food- especially the sushi- is outstanding. Everyone I recommend this place to is now a repeat customer.
