Best Vet I have ever encountered - TUSCALOOSA, AL Businesses

There are always nedw people moving to Tuscaloosa; students, teachers, families and most all families have one thing in common, a family pet.
I realize there are many great vets around Tuscaloosa and Northport area and I have used many.
Dr. Kenneth McLendon on University Blvd has got to be the most loving, caring vet I have ever met. He has taken care of 10 or more of my pets and he even shows up on days he is closed to make sure all the boarded animals have plenty of water and food and get their exercise.
He has met me as early as 7:00 A.M. on a Sunday morning to look at my little Gizmo (even though he knew if was probably just an upset stomach) to make me feel better.
Last December my husband and I decided that with his failing health, hearing and sight, it was time to let Gizmo go. I made the appointment 3 times before I ever actually made it there. When we did go, Dr. McLendon was the kindest person, he cried with us, he let us leave the back way with him because we were burying him in my sisters pet cemetary and there were lots of people in the waiting room. He never charged me anything to do the procedure and told me that Gizmo was one of his best clients he ever had. His staff was always the best, they knew our names and they knew Gizmo's name. He was alwats standoffish to strangers, but he always wagged his tail when they called his name to come back in the exam room.
He made us feel so good about the decision we made and didn't try to talk us out of it or force us into it...he knew it was a difficult decision and I am so glad we had him to take care of Gizmo for the 16 years we had him.
